Midwest Family Support and Advocacy is dedicated to walking alongside families across Greater Minnesota and rural North Dakota. We offer education advocacy, disability support, parent services, and policy work rooted in community, equity, and empowerment.

IEP Advocacy
Navigating the special education system can feel overwhelming. Midwest Family Support and Advocacy walks alongside families by attending IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings to provide advocacy, support, and guidance. We help parents prepare, understand their rights, and ensure their child's strengths and needs are clearly heard and addressed during the process.
Parent Support and Wraparound Services
Families deserve support that sees the full picture. Midwest Family Support and Advocacy offers one-on-one parent support along with connection to a wide range of community resources.
We provide emotional encouragement, coaching, and help navigating services like special education, disability supports, mental health care, basic needs assistance, and more. Our goal is to walk alongside families through every step, helping them build strong, stable foundations and feel empowered in every part of their journey.
Policy Work
At Midwest Family Support and Advocacy, we believe that lasting change happens both individually and systemically. We engage in policy work to advocate for fairer, more inclusive education and disability policies at the local and state levels. Our focus is on amplifying the voices of rural and underserved families to create systems that are more responsive, equitable, and accessible for everyone.
